"How do our surroundings shape our skin? In exploring the intricate link between
the human body and the spaces we inhabit, touch emerges as a crucial channel
for interaction. The skin, equipped with countless sensors, becomes a tangible
bridge connecting self and environment. Inspired by bachelard's philosophy, we
view the skin not just as a physical boundary but as a repository of experiences
and memories.

The interaction between the palm tree skin (representing the human body) and
the structured frames (symbolizing inhabited spaces) in my artwork illustrates
the symbiotic relationship between the human form and its surroundings. The
intertwining fibers within the frames metaphorically depict how our physical
presence becomes intertwined with the spaces we occupy, creating a dynamic
and inseparable connection. This emphasizes the idea that our bodies are an
integral part of the environments we inhabit, influencing and being influenced
by them."
