Sultan Al Remeithi (b. Abu Dhabi, 1989) is an Emirati artist who documents interactions, moments and emotions. He recreates moments from everyday life, from immediate interactions, to collected memorabilia and imagined scenarios that depict the world around him. In various mediums that include painting, collage, sculpture and immersive installation, the artist captures moments that now no longer exist. The works become time capsules that are brought back to life through an expressive, bright colour palette. Through the recreation of his world, an interaction, or an emotion, an action is documented and being reflected upon. Sultan’s works come together creating an unrealistic timeline surveying a wide range of elements of his life, some true to nature and others of exaggeration.
